Burn & Buy-Back Report: Q2 2024
Numbers team completed the 10th quarterly Burn & Buy-Back plan on July 2, 2024. A total of 6,000,251 NUM has been removed from circulation.
Total NUM supply has decreased from 638,011,138 NUM to 632,010,887 (CMC will be updated soon). This quarter, burnt NUM tokens were collected from different sources and were removed from the Liquidity. We will keep running the Burn & Buy-Back plan until we burn 100% of all the NUM (500M) and release all related burn activities in the quarterly Burn & Buy-back report. Token burnt for Transaction — 6,000,000 NUM
- Transaction committed on mainnet from March 27, 2024 to June 27, 2024: 22,132
- Total NUM burnt = min(max(22,132, 6M), 25.5M) = 6,000,000
Token burnt for DAO meeting — 251 NUM
The 7th DAO voting ended on April 25, 2024. The tallied results were : “31 votes in favor of the proposal, and 10 votes against the proposal”. This meant a total of 251 NUM would be burnt.
